Another one on the way for @FUMAPGbball in 6’4 W Camare Young

Loved his motor on the glass and his shooting touch from all 3 levels throughout the afternoon for a prospect that makes a 2-way impact on the game

[Samuel Burt @SamsRecruitRoom]

2+ years working together on and off the court. A very high quality young man, and he’s starting to blossom at just the right time athletically following his high level frame/skillset. This summer we are taking his shooting, pace, and conditioning to the next level. Proud of you!

Camare' Young - Apple Valley - is presented the
Dr. Richard Green Scholarship Award by Omar McMillan of the MBCA and the MBBCA. The Dr. Green Scholarship Award is presented annually to two Minnesota high school senior basketball players (one male and one female) who excel at leadership, community involvement and academics.

[Samuel Burt @SamsRecruitRoom]

The physical maturation is happening. @YoungCamare is playing 17U for EYCL Howard pulley. The vision is real for his future- + size at the 1, paint touches without resistance, playmaking at a high level, and high mid range efficiency.

[Travis Bledsoe @TBNike612]

Big time player and person. Camare is going to be a steal for any college that gets him!

Camare Young(Apple Valley,MN 26’)

One of the most accomplished 5-year varsity careers in state history. Year by year he continues to show growth and will continue to do so because of his work ethic. Finishes only behind Tyus and Tre Jones for all-time points leaders.

Last night the Eagles took down a group that came together from multiple districts. People keep calling this ‘unprecedented’ and a Cinderella story but if you would look at the fine details and how they prepare, you’d stop using these terms to undermine their accomplishment.

I've always been a big fan of Camare' Young's game. Big guard who can play up defensively because he's so long. Causes problems on both ends of the court for Apple Valley.

[Ryan James @RyanJamesMN]

Tyus. Tre. Trent.

On the biggest stage in the state, @YoungCamare and the Apple Valley eagles knock off the most dominant team of the decade in Minnesota. Proud is an understatement. Diligent to the grind and staying focused through the highs/lows. This was well earned!

[Minnesota High School Hoops @HSHoopsMN]

Wow huge upset! Congrats to @AVE_Hoops on their victory! @YoungCamare was the key cog today.
