@ChargersCountry I was a huge VJ fan, but your stats are incorrect. VJ was way less productive. 2005 was his rookie season and he had 3 catches. His first 3 seasons were (05-07) 71 rec. 1,135 yards 9 TDs.
@WhatsBruinBlog The reasons are simple, he doesn’t work.
He was the benefactor of playing with Poitras and Ločmelis this year. He’s got speed but doesn’t use it enough.
IMO he got unfairly overrated due to the 1st rounder. The fact that no one called on him at the deadline speaks volumes.
@BruinsMedia11 Also, Brunet is a left shot left side Dman, move HLindholm and you open a spot for him, otherwise you’re setting the kid up for failure.
@BruinsMedia11 I would send Lysell not Poitras! I watched Poitras several times this season, his game is growing, Lysell has shown very little, another so-so season for him, certainly nothing to give him a third line spot… and I say give because he’s not earned it.
@Goosey1994 This guy has been a headache for Van, both when they were good and bad. His production has dropped and he can’t stay healthy. Last year was a -30… all while pulling over $11m a yr. I’ll pass, people cry about $3m for Korpi and Lohrei - what would this be like. LOL
@BruinsWyan2 This is the first of the dream scenario forecast I really like. Steeves as an extra forward that in a pinch can play up and down the lineup. Keeping Poitras and still having the possibility of adds of the kids in college late in the season. I dig it
