After reading the Senate version of the the Revised Ali Act, I reiterate my comment, @Zuffa_Boxing doesn't want to be the biggest Boxing Promoter, they want to be the only one.

One of the main things that new bill does is allow traditional promoters to develop the fighters under a 3 year promotional contract, then Zuffa comes & takes the fighter with a stronger offer. And the traditional Promoter is left with nothing but a fleeting memory, & a depleted bank account.

Under this proposed bill, there is no reason for traditional promoters to develop new fighters. Because the better fighters, if not most fighters will get stolen from them by the deep pockets of Zuffa.

The current tradition of promoters & managers developing fighters will be broken. This new system that the Revised Ali Act would create is like allowing pickpocketing to be legalized. But at the Corporate level in Boxing.

Like I have said repeatedly, & I will write it again, Zuffa doesn't want to be the biggest Boxing promoter, they want to be the only one.

When this bill passes, and it will pass, it will be a real game changer, as the traditional promoters will need to completely revamp, retool, quickly & swiftly change their modus operandi.
In other words "prepare for the worst"
