It's better to buy a house in the township than a flat in the suburbs.

In the township, you get a yard & can extend without stress. You can also live with as many ppl as you'd like, without needing permission.

Flats are worse labour camps than townships.

Not only that, the municipal bill for a sectional title complex has risen substantially in East London.

The body corporate receives a municipal bill and then each owner receives an additional one for their respective unit.

Moreover,

The newly added Electric Pre Paid meter charge and the annual above inflation municipal increases are expropriating property gains.

Transferring wealth from citizens to the state. Property rights are destroyed by ineptness.

@CilliersB Please help me understand the double billing for sectional title schemes. The Body Corporate is billed the city, the individual property owner is billed and now R330 CoT network charge added to my monthly levies. Tshwane rates are unaffordable!
