Around midnight last night a 35 year old male driver was stopped by officers on Moray Drive, Clarkston. He subsequently failed breath tests and is expected to appear at court in the near future for an alleged "drink driving" offence.

From 1st November East Renfrewshire Council will be removing the recycling bins from the Clarkston beside Library. They claim it's because we are all so amazing at recycling at home that they now don't need this. How much will this affect your recycling? Do you rely on this?

🗑️ We've topped Scotland’s recycling table for the 3rd year in a row 👏 With support for recycling and use of kerbside collections, the need for our public recycling sites for glass/paper/cardboard has dropped. So, from 1 Nov we will be removing 10 of these facilities.

On Friday evening officers located a 14 year old boy in Overlee Park, Clarkston, in possession of an offensive weapon.
