President Donald Trump says his proposed 250-foot (76-meter) triumphal arch near Arlington Memorial Bridge in Washington, D.C., will also function as a military complex.

According to Trump, the structure would be designed to store ammunition and accommodate drones, with positions for snipers on the roof and surrounding plaza. He said the additional military functions were requested by the U.S. military for national security purposes.

The arch is planned near the western end of the National Mall, between the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery. The project is still undergoing the approval process, and its final design and functions have not yet been finalized.
