We've come to a strange time in American history where our leaders are telling us we should work more and fulfill our civic duty, yet also telling our elected officials that they can go home and they don't need to fulfill theirs. We have become a nation of lackeys.
It is time that the representatives, judges, and bureaucrats in this country must hold to the ideals and processes of the constitution. It is when the government betrays the ideals on which the social contract is founded that corruption and despotism don't just exist, but thrive.
It will soon become humanity's greatest downfall that we outsource our main natural advantage to lines of code. Without the ability to reason, nothing separates us from the ant, and we shall soon be crushed like one.
If we replaced the defense budget with healthcare spending and medical research, we could retain the same GDP and economic powerhouse position that we currently hold. Why must we only be powerful through violence and evil? Why can't we be powerful through good?
To assure constituents' ideals and best interests are put first and protected, congresspeople should be paid the median income of their congressional district.
@akafaceUS If we take the freedom to wear and do want you want from those who follow Islam, are we not just as bad as the countries banning bikinis and such?
@akafaceUS Despite my views on other issues of this kind, realistically the answer to this is no. The thing that differentiates America from countries who practice concepts such as Shari'a law is the ability for, women in particular, to wear and do for the most part whatever they want.
@ThisWallSlaps@HisWattson Honestly, based on how much the casual apex community loves to complain about basically everything now, I'd probably say the pros.
@Shadowmarettv@TTVdookiepox I mean do you just expect people who are good at apex to not play so they don't hurt people's feelings?? Its just part of the game, get used to it.
