This Labor government cannot keep denying that their spending is a major factor here. RBA Governor Bullock has confirmed government spending contributes to excess demand and inflation.

Spending is at its highest share of GDP outside the pandemic since the 1980s, with deficits continuing.

Households already struggling with basics are paying the price. Spend, tax, then force the RBA to raise rates. It has to stop.
