It is a beautiful morning in Southwest Florida and I'm off for a bike ride before it gets too hot or starts to rain.

I feel that the only difference between this and a traditional wedding is State Recognition. Each expresses a lifelong commitment.

The woman explained it was a ceremony uniting two people of the same sex. I knew this day would come and I never knew how I would respond.

I received a call from a woman who asked me if I would perform a commitment ceremony. I admitted that I was unfamiliar with that term.
