🔴 Israel has acknowledged nearly two years late that Palestinian prisoner Ehab Mohammed Abdel Qader Diab, 36, died in its custody, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Commission said on Sunday.

➤ Diab was detained on December 12, 2023. The commission believes he died on September 18, 2024, after roughly nine months of torture in Israeli custody.

➤ Israel claimed Diab had a health condition. His family rejects that completely, saying he was healthy and had no illnesses when detained.

➤ His death raises the number of Palestinian prisoners who have died in Israeli custody since 1967 to 328, including 91 since October 7, 2023. Fifty-three of the 91 were from Gaza.

➤ Gaza’s Prisoners Ministry held Israel’s government and prison administration fully responsible, citing evidence of torture, medical neglect and brutal conditions. It demanded an international investigation, accountability, return of Diab’s body to his family and disclosure of all Gaza detainees whose fates Israel is concealing.

💢 A newly leaked photo shows two blindfolded elderly Palestinians, Nadi Ma’rouf, 63, and Ali Ma’rouf, 60, alongside an Israeli soldier hours before Israeli forces killed them in November 2024, according to journalist Younis Tirawi, who published the photo.

He reported Israeli forces used the men as human shields before executing them in Beit Lahia. The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights documented at the time that the bodies of Nadi and Ali, along with 25-year-old Hamza al-Hatoo, arrived after Israeli forces shot them near Al-Khaldi Mosque.

PCHR said its researchers received information that all three had been detained by Israeli forces, released, and then shot shortly afterward.

Al Jazeera later reported Palestinian accounts that Nadi and Ali were held for days and forced to enter buildings ahead of Israeli soldiers as human shields before being released and shot after walking only a short distance.

🔴 Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich says Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff privately told him “I will not let two million Nazis live next to your children along the border fence,” referring to the besieged population of Gaza, half of them children, in remarks reported by Israel National News.

Smotrich said the conversation took place on January 30, 2025, when Witkoff met him alongside then-Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer in Jerusalem, a day after the envoy toured Gaza’s Netzarim Corridor and viewed footage of the October 7 attack, which Smotrich said left him visibly shaken. Recounting the exchange, Smotrich added: “There is only one thing that hurts the enemy: land.”

The account is Smotrich’s alone; Witkoff has not commented. The alleged remark came days before Trump publicly unveiled his plan to take over Gaza and transfer its population.

The phrase mirrors Smotrich’s own rhetoric: in November 2023 he declared “there are two million Nazis in Judea and Samaria,” and he has argued Gaza needs Jewish settlement because otherwise “there will be two million Nazis who want to destroy us every morning.”

A Palestinian aid worker who organised World Cup screenings in Gaza has been killed in an Israeli strike.

Mohamed al-Wahidi, the director of public relations for the Egyptian Committee in Gaza, was in a taxi on his way to the screening of the Egypt vs Argentina match when the missile struck the car.

The Israeli military said al-Wahidi wasn’t the intended target of the strike.

🚨 Israeli Plan to Herd Palestinians Into Controlled “Shelters” to Begin “Within A Matter of Weeks”

🔸Israel is preparing to channel Palestinians into fenced “humanitarian shelters” in areas outside Hamas’s control, policed by a foreign force, while its military deepens its occupation of the rest of Gaza, according to the pro-Netanyahu paper Israel Hayom, which reported the plan approvingly.

🔸Under the plan, unarmed civilians would be directed to a first zone in Tel al-Sultan, near Rafah, an area Drop Site has documented Israel systematically razing.

🔸A “multinational force” - the ISF - operating under the Trump administration’s “Board of Peace” would deploy there from a newly built base, equipped to police the zones, while the Israeli military “continues to maintain and deepen its hold” beyond the Yellow Line.

🔸 The camp/base for the force “has already been built,” and the Board of Peace has “begun identifying sites” for logistics warehouses, with the groundwork underway now, and deployment in the coming weeks.

🔸The paper described the effort as a “pincer movement”: the military seizing more territory as the population is siphoned into the controlled zones, in the hope that Hamas is left “without a population, territory or resources.”

🔸Officials said the areas would receive caravans and aid, but not the concrete needed to actually rebuild Gaza.

◽️The plan matches what Drop Site has previously exposed through leaked documents: a surveilled, checkpoint-controlled “planned community” in Rafah designed to force Palestinians into what amounts to an Israeli panopticon, tracked and screened as a condition of receiving aid.

🔸An Israeli political source told the paper the military would keep up “the pace of targeted killings while remaining below the threshold of international criticism… as long as Hamas is unwilling to disarm.”

📸 The buildup is already visible: the “Board of Peace” itself posted images of tactical vehicles arriving at a logistics base on June 30, matching the article’s account of preparations underway.

A very dangerous new nightmare we are living in Gaza City, and no one in the world is paying attention to it.

Days ago, the Israeli army installed huge military cranes, each about 30 meters tall, on the eastern areas it controls. These cranes are equipped with machine guns and cameras, and they fire randomly and almost continuously at tents, streets, and exposed neighborhoods.

Gaza City is extremely narrow, only 10 kilometers wide. A single crane at that height is enough to expose the entire city from east to west. Every street, every square, every tent, every house has become completely exposed. There is no place to hide, and not a single moment of safety.

In just the past two days, three people were killed by fire from these cranes. One of them was sitting quietly with his father in a small café, trying to breathe for a few minutes. Hours later, a 5year old girl was killed while playing near her home.

These cranes have turned the entire city into an open field. The latest military technologies are directed at civilians. We have become an open testing ground for their new weapons. The horror is not just in the sound… it is the constant feeling of being an exposed target at all times, where even children cannot run in the street without fear.

Palestinian prisoner Ayman al-Fakhouri has been released from Israeli prison today after 26 months behind bars without charge or trial, Quds News reported, sharing before-and-after images showing his severe physical deterioration in detention.

Israel’s widespread use of administrative detention allows Palestinians to be held indefinitely on secret evidence for renewable periods, without being told the accusations against them or facing trial. Palestinian and Israeli human rights groups, along with released detainees, have documented systematic torture, rape, starvation, beatings, and medical neglect across Israeli prisons since October 2023, conditions that have left many prisoners emaciated and that have killed scores in custody.

Al-Fakhouri’s gaunt appearance on release echoes that of other freed detainees, including journalist Ali al-Samoudi, who reportedly lost some 60 kilograms during his imprisonment.
