The two worst things a man can do to ruin his appearance are becoming fat or bald. Number one is being fat, there's no excuse for it because it's entirely within your control. Number two is going bald. That's relatively outside of your control and not your fault.
Why? Because both look unhealthy and people are attracted to healthy people and are often repulsed by unhealthy looking people. It's a matter of looking like you have healthy genetics to create a child with. Societal standards of the time tend to drive attraction to a degree, but deep down people want to reproduce with others who look like they'll have healthy children.
The Norwood reaper didn't kick down my door, but it definitely started knocking last year. No bald spots, but I could physically feel my hair getting thinner and it moving a little back in the corners. I heard nightmares about finasteride and sexual side effects but thought I'd give it a shot and stop if I had any. Four months in, not a single side effect. Nothing.
Taking an oral finasteride and minoxidil blend every day. What did I notice? My hairline returned to normal. In the corners where ir started pushing back, the hair grew back. Where it had thinned, thickened back to where it was 10 years prior.
Side effects? My beard is fuller and I don't like facial hair so I have to shave more frequently.
Some dudes pull off bald pretty easily. Others don't. The shaved head thing doesn't work for everyone. I was previously anti hairloss drugs because I kept hearing about the side effects. I experienced none.
It's 2026, you can have abs. You can have a hairline. You don't need to look bad.
Disclaimer: This is a hair subscription plan. If you stop, what you gain is lost eventually. it's just the name of the game for now unless you want hair transplants.
We need to stop using Rotten Tomatoes as a measurement for anything because by user ratings Rise of Skywalker is the 5th best Star Wars film.
Very bad metric of gauging a film’s quality. Also, 60% is considered “Fresh” when in real life no one views a D grade as a good thing.

I'd really like to hear the arguments for both.
Your hypothetical: A married father is in a position to save EITHER the wife and mother OR the child/children. Which should it be, and why?
@9mmsmg Thanks for posting, don't understand why people get mad at getting paid for knowledge. So many sketchy sites, a referral saves so many headaches.
parenting is hard actually. but doing hard things is good. i don't know why everybody started talking like hard things are intrinsically bad. you can't just relax your way into a good life. it takes effort
Retail theft is the Platonically ideal form of contemporary activism, because it’s completely self-serving, justified by vaguely anti-capitalist post-hoc moralism, and does absolutely nothing to make the world a better place
