Today, we had the honor of hosting Nkobazambogo schools as we witnessed the handover and swearing-in ceremony of the Nkobazambogo Akalibaakendo in Uganda.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ssaabasajja Kabaka of Buganda for his unwavering commitment to nurturing young leaders. We also thank the Katikkiro, represented by Owek. Israel Kitooke, for gracing the occasion and delivering inspiring remarks.
Special appreciation goes to Omulangira Wassajja, the patron of Nkobazambogo, for his steadfast support and dedication to empowering the youth. We are equally grateful to the school administrators who made it possible for the students to attend, and to the dedicated patrons whose guidance and leadership continue to shape these young people into responsible and proud ambassadors of Buganda.
We also commend the schools for contributing Ettu lya Nkobazambogo as a way of supporting activities within the Kingdom and demonstrating their commitment to the growth and preservation of Buganda’s heritage.
May the newly sworn-in leadership serve with integrity, dedication, and love for Buganda.

Today, we kicked off the 22nd edition of the Masaza Cup at Mubende NTC, marking another exciting chapter in one of Buganda's most cherished sporting competitions.
I am delighted to witness the continued growth of the tournament, which remains a strong platform for nurturing talent, promoting unity, and bringing together the people of Buganda through sport.
Defending champions Buweekula opened their title defense with a goalless draw against Kyaddondo, setting the stage for what promises to be a highly competitive season.
I wish all the counties success and urge supporters to rally behind their teams and uphold the spirit of sportsmanship throughout the competition.

This evening I represented the Katikkiro @cpmayiga at National Theatre at a cultural production by Ngoma z’Africa called Ku Kyoto.
In our culture, ekyooto was the heart of the home. It was where families and communities gathered to share stories, pass on values, and shape the character of future generations. It was where identity was nurtured and wisdom was preserved!
The Arts industry plays a great role in the transmission of such traditional values and am grateful to see culture portrayed through modernity.
