I finally found time to finish reading The Three-Body Problem (in Ukrainian). I am forever yours, Lady Demerzel (Asimov), but Liu Cixin was a real discovery for me. I highly recommend this trilogy to all science fiction fans. “Remembrance of Earth’s Past”

One reader noticed that in my third book (Code of My Creator) “there were a bit too many Chinese people.” There are only three of them, but yes, Liu Cixin’s influence is felt))

And let me mention the same three Chinese people in my first trilogy, “Genesis of the Heartbots”:

Wang Li — Daniel Heartman’s rival in the past. Died 22 years ago. (Books 2 and 3)

Wang Kai — Wang Li’s son. His story is incredible. (Books 2 and 3)

Wang Jie — Wang Li’s daughter, Wang Kai’s older sister. (Book 3)

And yesterday I watched the movie "The Shadow’s Edge" with Jackie Chan. Yes, I love Chinese people))

My plan for the Heartbots Saga series

I'm a big fan of robot sci-fi. There was something I missed about Lady Demerzel. From my personal perspective. The story of the heartbots will also go beyond the near future and take the reader thousands of years into the future. But that's for later. First I have to finish the first 9 books, 3 trilogies. Right now I'm only working on the second trilogy, but I'm already drafting trilogy number 4.

Today I received some great constructive feedback from a reader from the UK about book 1 — Heartman’s Legacy. He took the time to point out some errors in the text. I am very grateful for the constructive corrections!
I keep editing book 1, that was my first book. From the present perspective it really needs some corrections.
The story of the heartbots is not finished. I keep working on the next trilogy.

About 30 years ago, while reading sci-fi, I used to imagine a future where intelligent machines would exist. Although I loved the theme and found it fascinating, I didn’t actually want it to happen. To me, the risk of competing with robots felt like a threat to humanity: the moment artificial intelligence becomes self-aware as a distinct "individual," a struggle for space, resources, and so on will begin. This is natural for any life form, and therefore, for intelligence as well.

Now, we have entered an era where we seemingly approach the creation of truly intelligent AI, but it is nothing like what I read about in sci-fi novels. AI has become an entertainment tool, a fake generator, and a weapon for scammers. Vibe coding? Seriously? People who never learned how to code still won't learn it. Relying on AI degrades cognitive skills. It erodes society's potential. It’s a pity, but we are regressing.

I started writing my own sci-fi saga because I realized that this topic is still relevant. Humanity hasn't even come close to creating the intelligent machines that past visionaries dreamed of. And I hope we never do. Let it remain just a story. A beautiful, romantic, and captivating.
