When bannings are frequent too much discussion about competitive formats is about how could the format be changed to be "perfect", at some point players have to engage with the formats as they are.

I believe a meaningful factor in metagames stagnating recently is due to a player base being trained to just wait for the top deck to get banned rather than trying to develop answers
