Hello @splendorouscel1! I am currently doing a University project on obesity and how we can reduce obesity rates and I would really appreciate some expert help from a dietitian such as yourself! Do you happen to have any tips for someone struggling with obesity?
Below is a picture that displays some facts about the obesity rates in Canadian adults, followed by some ways we can bring these numbers down. #Em203Robin

New infrastructure investments of $19 million for upgrades to the Jane Street bridge reducing the impact of severe storms and flooding in Toronto’s #Rockcliffe community. Great example of federal funding that will create jobs and build cleaner, more inclusive communities.
Throughout the first 3 weeks in #EM203Robin I learned how learning has changed as time has gone on. We learn in this digital age very differently than years ago when our parents were getting educated.
@EM203LMerrimen Hey Luke, Great post! I totally agree with your point on how the course content applies now more than ever. Where would we even be right now if we didn't have the same technology as we do in this current pandemic situation?!
@EM203DHenry Hey Danielle, great post. It's extraordinary to think about how far we've come with technology, and how much it has impacted us. I fully agree with your point on distractions too, it feels like I can't get anything done when I'm distracted!
@bayerr28 Hey Andrew. I can totally agree with you in regards to how much learning has changed over the years, and how much technology has influenced this. When my parents tell me stories about their experience learning in school I can't help but to amazed by how much we've progressed.
@Reneecarriere6 Great post Renee! Throughout the course, I've begun to get a better understanding of how complex learning in the digital age is as well, and how the different learning styles affect learning and teaching.
@WaleedIrfan20 Great post Waleed! It's bizarre to think about how much we've progressed with technology and how important it is in our daily lives. I agree too, it's like we're all experts of technology with how many skills we've learned!
In the first 3 weeks of #EM203Robin, I have expanded my knowledge of learning in the digital age. Throughout the way, I have gained information on various types of learning theories and how they relate to learning and teaching, In particular, the importance of constructivism.
