While I put together the next part of the cryptic tale of reality, I will be sharing my new versions of Norse figures. First: Hrist the Valkyrie, Mead Bearer of Odin.
Víðarr, son of Odin. When Odin is slain by Fenrir during the ragnarök battle, Víðar shall go forth to avenge his father by slaying the great wolf. He and Váli are two of the Æsir that will become the first of the Æsir in the new age after ragnarök along with Móði and Magni.
I detour again, now- while still working the next part of the tale of the subjugation of Chaos- shortly, to display the portraits of the eight vices. These are better known as the seven deadly sins, and I also portray sin itself.
Váli, son of Odin. Avenger of Baldr. He was foretold to grow to maturity in a single day, and, after being delivered into the world, immediately going to slay Höðr to avenge the slain Baldr. This prophecy being from a dead seer (völ) Odin interrogated to know about Baldr's dreams
When the Æsir sent messengers to get all existence to weep for Baldr, all did except for one female jötun named Þökk/Thokk; Loki in disguise. His role in the death of Baldr is what made the Æsir finally decide they were going to bind Loki by some means.
Hel, daughter of Loki. She was given the realm of Niflheim to rule over the world of the dead by Odin. She did not make the Æsir concerned, but she was described as having a downcast countenance with one side of her face being blue in hue while the other was as all the living.
When Baldr was slain the Æsir sent Hermóðr, son of Odin, to beseech Hel to allow Baldr to return to the living realms and be again with Æsir in Ásgarðr because all existence wept for Baldr. She accepted under the condition that all existence truly did shed tears for Baldr.
