Tyrese Haliburton shares more details about LeBron James' reaction to potentially joining the Indiana Pacers next season.
It's already known that LeBron James laughed at Tyrese Haliburton's attempt to recruit him to play for the Indiana Pacers. On Monday, Haliburton went further in his exchange with the 41 year old forward, revealing James' true reaction.
While guest appearing on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Haliburton, who is 26 years old, claimed that it wasn't two laughing-crying emojis that James had sent him in response to the recruiting pitch. It was actually six. So, the 23-year veteran laughed three times harder than what was originally reported.
“LeBron being my teammate, it's not looking good,” Haliburton said. “I texted him before Fanatics Fest. I said, ‘Hey, come to [Indiana]. You should come be a Pacer.' And he responded with six laughing crying [emojis]. I thought it was two. I said during our interview that it was two. But I went back and looked at the text. It was six.”
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

@SirJFitz@abdjdn12@TheNBACentel@ChrisBHayne So why do you think all these players are trying to recruit him? why is the entire NBA media anticipating where he’ll go next , how can you value your personal opinion on LeBron over the active interest that’s being displayed everywhere
