You have a right to complain about the conduct of a police officer during a #stopandsearch if you feel their behaviour fell below the required standard. Our Y.Stop App allows you to do this quickly & easily. Download it today for free on Andriod & iOS

Do lookout for the relaunch of the Y-Stop app in January. We're still operating as normal, offering workshops and advice. For more info or any queries: [email protected]
Some news: We're currently in the process of fixing the Y-Stop app due to some bugs, therefore it has temporarily been taken down from the App Store until these issues are resolved
A WIN ON OUR JOURNEY!
We are so appreciative of everyone who has been involved in our collective action for #NoPoliceInSchools.
There is of course a journey ahead, but we are forcing shifts, and we will continue to.

Had ‘the talk’ recently with my two sons around interacting with the Police. @YStopUK’s video will really reinforce what I told them especially around receipts. Nice one @D_Tribal for the tip off! https://t.co/7m8hDMrGrS

Keep your eyes peeled for the launch tomorrow 👀
@C4Dispatches@jjenas8 This is so shocking but not surprising. Working with young people I always encouraged them to know their rights, to ensure that all stop and searches are recorded by the police, but it shouldn't be this way. https://t.co/VdqcQNDPk7
The @YStopUK app is awesome too.
And police rely heavily on low numbers of complaints when justifying high rates of stop and search. I have tackled this problem in City Hall and urge more people to at least get their complaints on record. Through third parties like @YStopUK if concerned. https://t.co/QZZbGGcOS0
It’s important that the experiences Black people go through are highlighted and amplified beyond the statistics and it’s great to see @jjenas8 listen to those voices
If you are Black in England and Wales you are nine times more likely to be stopped by police than a white person.
We asked 40 Black men to share their experiences of Stop and Search.
One year and one month into the Coronavirus Act:
⚖️ 277 cases reviewed by the Crown Prosecution Service
❎ 277 cases incorrectly charged
