@AndyMasley Do you know how much power GPUs draw? Even when they are 'idle', B200 draws 195W "per GPU" and when it's in full use, it goes to 1000W ~ 1200W "per GPU".

Google study likely uses their small model whereas top models likely require dozens of GPUs in full utilization.

@emollick The whole point of strawberry is to expose that GenAI doesn't really understand. Its pattern matching/interpolation can yield some awesome results on seemingly complicated problems but it's still the case that it can also yield extremely stupid results on trivial problems.

They were so low for Grok/xAI that they are now renting it to Anthropic.
