Securing your AI tools just got a massive upgrade. Tune in to @Snubs latest video to learn why hardware-backed passkeys are the ultimate defense against phishing for your AI workflows, and how to get your custom OpenAI YubiKey bundle. 🔑🔑 https://t.co/rO3NC0CnLE
As part of our continued partnership with @OpenAI to help secure the AI frontier, beginning today, individuals like cyber defenders and Codex developers in OpenAI’s Trusted Access for Cyber (TAC) will be required to use passkeys as part of its Advanced Account Security (AAS) program.
As AI models become more powerful, hardware-backed passkeys are the essential "circuit breaker" for securing developer accounts. The physical tap of a YubiKey ensures high-consequence AI actions are authorized by a verified human, bringing cryptographic certainty to the AI frontier. 🔐🤖

⚡ Securing critical infrastructure and a global supply chain is no small task - but Schneider Electric is leading the charge by utilizing hardware-backed security keys to overcome complex security challenges, such as:
🔐 YubiKeys for SCADA: Enabling seamless, offline multi-factor authentication (MFA) for system operators in isolated environments, without the need for an internet connection or SMS.
🛡️ YubiHSM for Supply Chain Security: Leveraging dual encryption during the manufacturing process to ensure that every product bearing the Schneider Electric name is 100% genuine and secure.

@APNews shares some vital tips for securing your online accounts including:
👣 Limit your digital footprint: Limiting what personal information is publicly available helps to reduce the risk of falling victim to cyberattacks such as phishing and identity theft.
🔑 Upgrade to passkeys: Move past traditional passwords. Passkeys are a modern login standard that “cannot be faked, intercepted, or replicated by AI-based attacks.

🔐@OpenAI’s new partnership with @Yubico hits at the right moment. Over the past 90 days I’ve personally dealt with several sophisticated, targeted ransomware and account takeover attempts. Not random spam. Not obvious phishing. Coordinated attacks aimed at social accounts, email, cloud platforms, business systems, the whole stack. It changed the way I think about cybersecurity.
A lot of us still treat security like an annoying extra step, but if you run a business, have an audience, work in enterprise tech, healthcare, finance, media, or simply live your life online, you are already a target. What surprised me most is how polished these attacks have become. AI is making phishing smarter, faster, more believable, and more scalable than ever. Fake login pages look real, emails sound human, social engineering is getting scary good. Passwords alone don’t cut it anymore.
That’s why I’ve been going all in on hardware-based MFA, passkeys, password managers, segmented accounts, backup recovery methods, and tightening everything up across personal and professional. The physical key piece matters more than people realize. Stealing a password remotely is one thing. Needing a physical key sitting in someone’s pocket is a completely different problem for an attacker.
Cybersecurity isn’t just an enterprise IT problem anymore. It’s personal resilience. Identity has become the perimeter, and once someone gets through that layer, they usually get everything else with it. Don’t wait for an incident to upgrade your posture. Most people and plenty of companies are still underestimating how fast this is evolving.
The attackers are using AI too.
