The similarities after 2,200 years.

The demographic issue has been a problem several times throughout history, and none of those times was it due to the economy, but rather a result of prosperity, comfortable living, and laziness. My Greek grandparents had children even when they had nothing to eat, and the kids grew up barefoot, eating bread with olives and feta cheese. Money was never an obstacle.

Nowadays, people prefer partying, doing drugs, and living for today rather than having a purpose, building a family, and leaving a positive footprint in this world. They choose the easy life. It’s sad watching people who passionately want to have kids but can’t, compared to people who don’t want kids because it would take them out of their comfort zone, because a child would stop them from going to clubs, drinking, and partying like a meaningless person.

I also notice a pattern among people on the Left who admire Marx. Marx wanted to destroy the nuclear family. He thought marriage was a system of oppression not based on love, but on property ownership, treating women as "instruments of production." Most of the youth who admire Marx are against having a family.

At this point, it’s a form of natural selection between those who are worthy and those who are not to continue.

Remember the dairy farmer in Ontario who was forced to dump 30,000 litres of milk in February 2023?

No one has heard from him since. Dairy Farmers of Canada claimed it was an isolated incident, but that's not quite the case.

Our lab launched a study on farm milk waste and milk dumping in Canada, in collaboration with McGill, the University of Michigan, and Aalborg University in Denmark. I'm happy to report that our study has been accepted for publication in a prestigious academic journal by @sciencedirect and will be released in a few weeks. The amount of unreported wasted farm milk in Canada is astonishing.

Just published study just dropped some bombshells on what we know about cancer.

Researchers found cancer cells that survived chemotherapy may release fructose (the sugar found in fruit and fruit sweeteners) to help communicate with other cancer cells and tell them to metastasize (spread.)

Cancer cells are using fructose to communicate!

But wait there's more.

"Cholesterol helps cells remain attached to one another, functioning like a form of biological glue. When cholesterol levels fall, those cellular bonds weaken, allowing cancer cells to separate more easily and move into other areas."

That's right. Lower cholesterol levels makes it easier for cancer cells to spread.

So what about statins?

Researchers are investigating the clinical significance between statin therapy and chemotherapy but are quick to point out that these findings are not a reason to stop taking statins (lol).

Talk about mixed messages!

Important caveats:

This study is based on cell and animal models, plus some correlative human data.

This study focuses on ovarian cancer and not all cancers behave the same.

Fructose from whole fruit is not as insidious as something like HFCS found in sodas.
