🚨 BREAKING:
An hour after announcing his resignation, US Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Randy George reportedly said:
"Donald Trump needs to be hospitalized immediately; I question his mental stability. He is leading the US military toward disaster."
If you want to see how an autocracy handles a financial heist inside its own palace, look at Turkey right now.
The latest saga surrounding Erdogan's inner circle refuses to end, and it tells you everything about the total collapse of justice in this country.
A ruling party deputy was caught in a multi-billion lira stock market extraction. The palace panicked. Government media then released a story claiming she simply "refunded the money."
No documents. No bank receipts.
They expect 86 million citizens to ignore basic criminal law. Returning stolen funds does not erase the crime. The legal penalty is double the amount, reaching 4.4 billion liras.
But the question nobody dares answer: where did a political official find 163 million liras in cash to make the initial investment?
The double standard is staggering.
A university student posts a critical tweet and anti-terror police kick down their door at midnight. Ekrem Imamoglu wins an election and gets 2,300 years of fabricated charges. But when a regime insider loots billions, the state issues a polite press release and calls it resolved.
This is not a government managing an economy.
It is a money laundering operation with a national flag.
the biggest mistake western analysts make about Turkey is assuming that total control equals political stability.
it does not.
look at the state of the country right now. Erdoğan has achieved what every 21st century autocrat dreams of. he controls the lower courts, the supreme bench, the central bank, state television, and the regulatory bodies. he passed a cybersecurity law that wipes opposition accounts in two hours, and his prosecutors can hand an elected mayor twenty-three centuries in prison without presenting a single piece of evidence.
by every classic metric of political science, the palace should feel invincible.
instead, what we are watching is a regime in a state of permanent panic.
when an autocrat is truly secure, he does not send police to raid printing presses to seize physical paper.
he does not put ordinary billboard painters on trial in Silivri.
he does not open criminal investigations against his own retired prime minister who walked away from politics a month ago.
and he does not watch an opposition movement split from its old establishment and build a 91-seat parliamentary force from inside a prison cell.
this is the structural paradox of modern authoritarianism. you can capture the entire legal ledger, but you cannot force 86 million citizens to trust your courts. you can control every broadcast antenna, but you cannot force international capital to invest in a country where property rights depend on the mood of the palace.
western leaders think they made a pragmatic bargain. they gave Erdoğan a blank check on human rights in exchange for a predictable border guard on Europe's southern flank.
what Brussels and Washington actually bought is not stability. they bought a hollowed-out system that has to invent new enemies every forty-eight hours just to explain why the economy is crumbling and the country refuses to obey.
Erdoğan spent twenty-three years winning absolute power over the state.
his real crisis in 2026 is that the state is no longer enough to control the nation.
let me ask you something.
what would it take for Europe to stop calling it a coincidence?
in the span of seven days, here is what happened across NATO territory.
Polish security services arrested a Russian citizen tasked with killing an American-Ukrainian dual national in Warsaw. Prime Minister Tusk said it out loud: the first time someone acting on Russian orders has attempted to kill an American citizen on the soil of another NATO country.
a drone carrying explosives was found near a runway at Leipzig airport, next to a Ukrainian cargo aircraft. two more drones appeared over a German military base days later.
a fire and explosion tore through an ammunition plant in Italy that produces 155mm artillery shells supplied to Ukraine.
and in Rotterdam, Europe's largest port, within hours: a transformer fire, a major power failure, an emergency shutdown at an ExxonMobil refinery, then an explosion at a second refinery that killed one worker and injured six.
one week. four NATO countries. ammunition plants, military bases, critical infrastructure, and an assassination attempt on American soil.
each incident, taken alone, has an explanation. accidents happen. drones malfunction. fires start.
but here is the thing about hybrid warfare that Russia understood long before Europe did.
it is not designed to be provable. it is designed to be deniable. the entire architecture of the strategy depends on keeping every single incident just below the threshold that would force a response. an explosion here. a fire there. a power failure somewhere else. none of it crossing the line that turns coincidence into an act of war.
the line that never quite gets crossed.
and yet European courts have already connected multiple sabotage operations from previous years directly to networks organized by Russian intelligence. the IKEA fire in Vilnius. the warehouse arson in London. the incendiary devices sent through logistics networks that detonated in Germany, Poland and Britain. at the time they looked like isolated incidents. they were not. they were a pattern that was simply diagnosed late.
the same diagnosis is being delayed again.
Russia is not preparing to wage a hybrid war against Europe.
it is already waging one. it has been for years. and Europe keeps responding to each individual incident as if the previous ones never happened.
Poland. Germany. Italy. the Netherlands. one week.
at what point does the pattern become impossible to treat as coincidence.
Europe does not get to keep asking that question forever.
eventually the answer arrives on its own.
if European readers want to understand where Turkey is heading right now, look at what the Ankara prosecutor did yesterday.
they launched a criminal investigation into Ahmet Davutoğlu for insulting the president on social media.
for anyone outside Turkey who does not recognize the name, Davutoğlu was not an opposition activist. he was the Prime Minister of Turkey. he was the Foreign Minister. he was the chairman of Erdoğan's own ruling party. he was the man who sat in Brussels across from EU leaders to negotiate international treaties.
last month, Davutoğlu dissolved his political party and announced his complete retirement from politics. he walked away from public life entirely.
yet the state opened a criminal probe that carries up to four years in prison simply for posting criticism online.
look at the progression of the purge.
first, they jailed the Kurdish opposition. then, they locked up Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu in Silivri facing 2,300+ years and raided printing presses to seize his books. and now, prosecutors are chasing the regime's own former prime minister into retirement.
in a healthy democracy, former prime ministers give university lectures and write memoirs.
in Ankara, they get criminal subpoenas from the prosecutors they helped appoint.
this is the final stage of autocracy. when a system runs out of enemies to eliminate, the machine turns inward and starts eating its own architects.
and while the state prosecutes its own former prime minister for tweets, European leaders still land in Ankara, smile for the cameras, and pretend Turkey is a normal partner.
you cannot negotiate stability with a regime so paranoid it is terrified of its own retired founders.
🇳🇱 The Dutch just did something central banks only do when they’ve quietly stopped believing the official story.
Eighty-six tonnes of gold, hauled out of New York and parked in London, because Amsterdam decided the safest place for its national reserves is no longer America. That is a vote of no confidence.
Officially it is about tradability. Unofficially it is about trust, and trust in Washington has never sat this low.
When a NATO founding member starts treating the world’s reserve currency’s own backyard as a liability rather than a safe haven, something structural has cracked. Tariff wars with Canada, a foreign policy that lurches by tweet, and an administration that governs like a reality show finale have made even Haiti look like the more stable bet.
Gold does not do sentiment. It simply moves toward safety, and away from Trump’s circus of amateurs.

🚨 BREAKING
THE NETHERLANDS JUST PULLED 86 TONNES OF GOLD WORTH OVER $11 BILLION OUT OF NORTH AMERICA
59 tonnes were sold in New York and immediately bought back in London
London now holds more Dutch gold than any other location
And the reason is simple
The Dutch central bank says gold stored there can be accessed immediately during a crisis
They are not buying more gold
They are moving it somewhere they can use it the moment the system comes under pressure
THIS IS WHAT CRISIS PREPARATION LOOKS LIKE
#WK2026
