bang pd is definitely a great producer, but he's the worst businessman. every morning when he wakes up, he should be grateful for the uniqueness of the all bts members.

if bts hadn't debuted after the glam disaster, bighit would have been history back in 2013. hybe managed to survive so many crises even in bts's absence thanks to bts, and because they know this, they're constantly in trigger mode, acting like bts is going to leave, and even risking losing bts just to survive without them.

nobody gaf about hybe, no one cares about hybe. investors only invest because bts's IP power is under hybe. they can't create a “next bts”, so knowing this, they want to turn every group in the company into “alternative bts-es” by securing the highest quality productions for bts first using their flagship status.

but this mindset of “we need to prove we're not just bts's agency” is only creating an infrastructure that brings hybe's downfall while lifting bts even higher.

it's naturally normal for a company to want to prove itself, but hybe is perhaps the very first example to do so by betraying its flagship.

for years bighit has been stalking armys, stealing their ideas, and now applying them to other groups in 2026 except bts.

while hybe betrays bts, a company created through bts's own sweat, blood, and hard work, bts ends up being the only thing saving hybe.

i've always said that hybe emotionally manipulates armys by having new groups praise bts in interviews just to trigger the "look at bts's little siblings, let's support them 🥹" mindset. once their debut era ends and some success is guaranteed, they reveal their true intentions. they market these groups as bts alternatives to secure the company's future before bts leaves, but these tactics feel really shady to me.

that alternative bts hybe wants will never come, and hybe will always be bts's company.

bighit's last mama post for bts was in 2023, and bighit never begged for votes for any group. their goal is clear.

"they are just supporting their group" by trying to knock BTS off their award?

"it's only promo" based on trying to sabotage BTS?

"what's wrong with supporting their rookie" bighit NEVER done this before, for either BTS or TXT

"they have their different teams" then where was supposed BTS' team to not even post about the voting? what supposedly held them back? how does some assignment change all employees are Bighit employees, contracted to the same place, under the same management, with the same boss?

Bighit opened a special voting event on MAMA worldwide daesang for C0rtis, with autographed merch and albums as rewards. Autographed merch and album bundles, just for submitting votes.

For BTS, they didn't even post about the voting on BTS' own socials.

This is already the nth time Bighit is showing an appalling bias towards one of their groups against another. Proving extreme favoritism towards C0rtis in direct competition against BTS, heavily pushing them for daesangs and awards BTS is leading for.

And no, this is not for a bonsang. The event is specifically for this round, where they consistently mark TOP5. They don't need this to safely land the bonsang. But they do need it to try climb over to #1, currently occupied by BTS not supported by anyone other than armys unincentivized dedication.

It is also not the first, not the second time Bighit interns did not post on BTS socials about huge award votings when C0rtis is competing for it.

Not different company. Not even a different label. Same household.
