@solarEzreal@Akira2003k "I-It's totally my actual taste, y-you guys. The fact that I always happen to like the exact same 'good anime' as my pretentious youtube essayist is totally a coincidence!"
@Sinnoware Nah, there’s no way to enlighten someone who would put Thief II, Ultima Underworld II, VTMB, and E.Y.E. on the same level as Pacific Drive and Deathloop.
@ernest_anpilov I noticed this trend among indie developers. A lot of games are being inspired by classics, and I understand the benefits of it. It brings attention to the project, and it also lets developers create their own version of those games. The problem is that it also limits potential.
@FudgeChummy@Terroffi@MrBubblyTTV I'm criticizing the default design and intended experience of the modpack, not whether I have the option to remove parts of it. Seriously, the whole 'you control the buttons you press' meme has done a lot of damage to honest discussion.
@FudgeChummy@Terroffi@MrBubblyTTV From what I'm seeing, you only played SoC after STALKER 2 was released, am I right? That's probably why the bloat doesn't feel as bad for you. STALKER 2 has some GAMMA influence.
@FudgeChummy@Terroffi@MrBubblyTTV It is pretty damn bad. I've personally played GAMMA so I know what I'm talking about. A single enemy can have a bunch of trash in his inventory, and the mod expects you to loot it to use for crafting. GAMMA is the definition of bloat, especially the repairing system.
