I love when life starts rhyming. Things like the same lesson appearing through different people. A conversation answering a question you never said aloud. A book finding you at the exact right moment. I notice the poetry of life.
One of the healthiest things I’ve learnt over the years is to allow people reintroduce themselves to you, even those closest to you. Familiarity shouldn’t become a cage. People change. Love them for who they are now, not just who they were then.
“People often ask me questions that I cannot very well answer in words, and it makes me sad to think they are unable to hear the voice of my silence.”
- Hazrat Inayat Khan
self-sabotage is also
• not asking for help
• rejecting praise
• isolating yourself when hurt
• saying "yes" to everything
• putting your needs on hold
• procrastinating on important tasks
• watching too much news
• trying to be perfect
I went from feeling deeply afraid // fearful to deeply curious // interested.
This was a great change in my life, and I encourage everyone to have that audacity to do so.
