There is a stage play written by Stew and produced by Spike Lee and co-starring Colman Domingo that talks about Black life in Amsterdam in the 70s/80s. It’s called “Passing Strange”. I think about it often. Never seen anything like it. Go find it before it’s lost media.
The feed killed Instagram. Why would you show me people I don’t follow more than I do follow? The whole point in a follow button is I want to see that persons post. The explore page is to find people you might want to follow.

I think ppl forget that you can consume & curate the content you want to see. I use that mute, block & “not interested” button frequently to curate my feed. now my feed is full of positivity, affirmations, art, music, movies & tv show related post. makes my time on apps bearable.
