@CP24 We had an increase this year of over 4% as a large number of big landlords applied for above guidelines increases to make up for the freeze last year. LTB has not approved the increase but we had to pay it from January anyway. So that is going to be at least 6.5% over 3 years.
@CityNewsTO Our increase this year (2022) was over 4% because a large percentage of landlords applied for above guidelines increases to make up for last year's freeze. LTB hasn't approved the increase yet but they will and we have been told to pay it since January anyway.
@TheLoudSpeakr @CatDocMD My Mom (48) after a radical mastectomy was told by a female doctor "it is natural to grieve the loss of femininity". My Mom said "it's not like I was using it for anything and I am here for my kids."
@MaryFernando_ Getting a lot more common to see signs like this. Also posted in my Dr.'s office and the post office we use. Common courtesy and respect is becoming much less common.
@Violet_Foxglove@DrVivianS@Docs4LTCJustice We are in the same position but it's my Mom. My sister and I have been providing 24/7 care in her home for a year, still looking at months of wait time. Home care's expensive, finding reliable PSW who are available impossible. She's getting 2 1 hour visits a week from Sprint.
@DrVivianS @maej43 They left literature tucked in the door handles of each apartment in a Seniors building at Yonge and Eglinton Avenue and didn't knock on any doors. Didn't want to hear from the Seniors in my guess.
