🔴 #BREAKING | 🇮🇱🇸🇨 His Eminence Sheikh Mowafak Tarif Sends an Urgent Warning to the United Nations, Calling for the siege of #Sweida to be lifted before It’s too late.

Amid the worsening humanitarian and service conditions in Sweida, Sheikh Mowafak Tarif, the spiritual leader of the Druze community in Israel, has sent an urgent letter to the United Nations warning about the renewed siege on Sweida.

He described the siege as a continuation of last summer’s attack, aimed at intimidating the population and undermining their rights and standing in Jabal al-Druze.

According to the letter, the siege has intensified over the past two weeks, with food supplies and fuel almost completely blocked, hospitals struggling to operate, drinking-water shortages, and widespread electricity and internet outages. The situation is particularly threatening for patients, the elderly, women, and children.

Sheikh Tarif called on the international community and UN bodies to work to lift the siege in all its forms and provide civilian and humanitarian support to Jabal al-Druze and Sweida, warning of further deterioration if urgent action is not taken.

The letter was also sent to relevant UN bodies and foreign embassies, accompanied by information and documentation on the current situation. Sheikh Tarif is continuing contacts with the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office and security authorities, urging action on all levels before it is too late.

أصالة تغني من تراث السويداء.. والذهبي يعلن المنع “بإذن الله”

نشرت الفنانة أصالة نصري قبل قليل أغنية من تراث السويداء، بالتزامن مع اقتراب موعد حفلتها المرتقبة في دمشق، لتعود المنطقة إلى حضورها في صوت الفنانة من بوابة تراثها الغنائي.

ولا تبدو هذه المرة الأولى التي تستحضر فيها أصالة السويداء في أعمالها وحفلاتها؛ إذ سبق أن استذكرتها، بعد مجازر السويداء، بأغنية للفنان فهد بلان، من دون إعلان موقف سياسي مباشر مما جرى.

ويأتي نشر الأغنية في وقت تتواصل فيه الحملة على حفل أصالة في دمشق من قبل الناشط المعروف باسم “الذهبي”، الذي دعا في بيان مطوّل إلى “إلغاء حفلات المعاصي”، مستنداً إلى ما وصفه بإجماعات فقهية حول تحريم المعازف والاختلاط ووجوب الحجاب، قبل أن يعلن: “وسيتم المنع بإذن الله”.

وبينما تتجه الأنظار إلى مصير الحفل، حضرت السويداء في المشهد من مكان آخر؛ عبر أغنية من تراثها بصوت أصالة.
