الكرد لا ينتظرون شهادة ميلاد مِمَّن يجهل التاريخ أو يقرؤه بانتقائية. وجودهم في هذه المنطقة حقيقة تاريخية راسخة، ودورهم في حاضرها ومستقبلها لا يُقاس بالافتراضات أو الروايات المزوّرة. وما ورد في تصريحات المبعوث الرئاسي أحمد هلالي يعكس رؤية ��قصائية قاصرة لا تنم عن وعي بالتاريخ ولا بروح الوطنية، ولا تسهم في بناء خطاب وطني جامع. المطلوب اليوم ليس إعادة اختراع التاريخ أو تزويره، بل العمل على بناء كيان سوري متماسك يضم جميع أبنائه على أساس الانتماء الفعلي للمنطقة والمواطنة المشتركة، كما كان الكرد في مسار بناء سوريا الحديثة منذ بداياتها وصولاً إلى انتمائهم الفعلي في محاربة كافة قوى الشر كداعش وأخواتها. أما الخطاب القائم على التشكيك في مكوّنات أصيلة من نسيج المنطقة، فهو خطاب عنصري لا يخدم أي مشروع وطني حقيقي، ويقود فقط إلى إضعاف النسيج الوطني بدل حمايته.

Mein Interview mit @MazloumAbdi, Oberkommandierender der kurdisch angeführten Syrian Defense Forces (Demokratische Streitkräfte Syriens). Er und Ilham Ahmad, Außenbeauftragte der kurdischen Selbstverwaltung in Syrien, sind zur @MunSecConf gereist, um hier diplomatische Gespräche zu führen. Gestern gab es ein gemeinsames Treffen zwischen ihnen, U.S.-Außenminister Marco Rubio und dem syrischen Außenminister Al-Schaibani. Heute trafen sie auf den französischen Staatspräsidenten Emmanuel Macron und U.S.-SenatorInnen. Es sind entscheidende Tage für die KurdInnen in #Syrien.

Denn es steht die Frage im Raum, wie der weitere Einigungsprozess mit der syrischen Zentralregierung umgesetzt wird, und zwar möglichst so, dass die KurdInnen sich ihre Rechte bewahren können. Alles andere als ein einfaches Unterfangen. Denn die Gespräche finden unter militärischem Druck statt: Noch immer steht die kurdische Stadt Kobanê unter Belagerung durch die Truppen der so genannten „Interimsregierung“. Die Lage ist besorgniserregend: Denn nach 25 Tagen gehen nun Medikamente zur Neige und Infektionskrankheiten breiten sich aus.
