@broncosaura Disagree on 2022. Finding players like Uwazurike and Wattenberg on day 3 is fine.
Also Barron should be yellow not green Vele should be green as you acknowledged.
This year should all be yellow except Joly.
Lohner should be yellow too.
@broncosaura I expect most of this is from missed tackles forced on receptions; Harvey is a very different type of player to JK. If anyone is going to make JK expendable it would be Jonah.
Also, I’m not too sure about a metric that has Holani 7th and Bijan 14th.
@NixedBy10@sfdata9ers I would say it is quite surprising that DEN is the best in the NFL at avoiding negative plays, given how bad the offense has been overall.
I think this is mainly because Bo doesn’t take many sacks and they have a lot of runs that go for between 1-3 yards.
@bburkeESPN I don’t see the relevance of this. ‘Establish the run’ isn’t about running first so you can then pass. It’s about ensuring the defence cannot overload to stop the pass - i.e. to respect the threat of the run.
On the first play of the game defenses must always respect the run.
@cashed876@DalleyJeff94573 Cooper being back should help, especially in terms of setting a hard edge/keeping contain. But I’m not sure he’s the difference between allowing 220 yards and totally shutting their run game down.
@Jon00618269@DalleyJeff94573 I hope not, and I’m sure they won’t be as bad as week 1 (which was historically bad) but I’m not convinced their tackling is totally fixed. And Walker has been forcing missed tackles at a very high rate, even outside that week 1 game.
@C4RTUNEZNC3REAL So much wrong with this. Are you expecting pro bowlers on day 3? Vele yellow when he started as a rookie and they got a 4th in return for him a year later.
Just one of many awful takes in here.
@marcky_sports Seahawks have traded for the ability to pay him $10M for the rest of this season, and exclusive negotiating rights with him
until March. At which point they’ll likely be giving him a $25M/yr deal entering his age 31 season.
That’s why the compensation is low.
@JmoneysteckNFL Yes but they also have Jurgens for a discount price until then too.
Whereas Nelson you’re going to have to give a big contract to going into his age 31 season.
I’m not saying I prefer the Jurgens move, just that I think it’s tricky to compare.
@JmoneysteckNFL You’re trading for 9 games of Nelson, plus exclusive negotiating rights him until March. Compensation would’ve been much higher if he had multiple years left on his contract.
@redwardsradio Let’s bear in mind what they’re really trading for is 9 games of Nelson plus exclusive negotiating rights with him until March. Hence why it’s only a 3rd and 5th
@bostonaustin The Patriots game might be their only chance to beat a playoff team on the road. PIT and CAR also possibles (depending if they make it in).
I don’t see it is an important metric.
