One week ago I made a post saying how my recruitment is re-opening due to being medically denied by the Air Force Academy. I was committed to Air Force Football since January. I’ve been blessed to receive multiple offers as a graduated class of 2026. Today I’m committing to SEMO
Unfortunately I have been Medically Denied by the Air Force medical review board due to a surgery I had back in January that I recently found out had Failed. I’ve been Committed to Air Force Football Since January. The failure of the surgery does NOT prevent me from playing football. I am now looking for ANY opportunities to play. Any School, JUCO, Prep school

Gary Rankin Resigns as Head Football Coach at Boyd-Buchanan School
Chattanooga, TN — 2/11/2026 — Boyd-Buchanan School announced today that Gary Rankin has resigned as head football coach, concluding a highly successful and historic tenure leading the Buccaneers.
A member of the National High School Hall of Fame, Rankin departs the program with 510 career victories, cementing his legacy as one of the most accomplished coaches in high school football history.
During his time at Boyd-Buchanan, Rankin compiled an outstanding 43–7 overall record. Over the past three seasons, his teams posted a remarkable 36–3 mark, establishing the Buccaneers as one of Tennessee’s premier football programs. Under his leadership, Boyd-Buchanan reached the state semifinals in three of his four seasons, highlighted by a state finals appearance in 2023. Beyond the wins, Rankin fostered a culture rooted in discipline, accountability, and excellence.
“Coach Rankin has informed me that he has decided to step down as our head football coach,” said Director of Athletics Matt Pobieglo. “I am extremely grateful to Gary for the hard work, dedication, and success we have shared. Coach Rankin has been an important part of the Boyd-Buchanan community, and we are thankful for the time, effort, and passion he and his family invested in our football program. I look forward to continuing to work with Coach Rankin in a different capacity at Boyd-Buchanan.”
Boyd-Buchanan School is honored to have been part of Coach Rankin’s legendary career and is deeply grateful for the passion and commitment he devoted to Buccaneer football.
“It’s been a great ride the last four years at Boyd-Buchanan,” said Rankin. “I can’t thank our administration, athletic director, teachers, parents, and students enough for their support of our program. The football program has established itself as one of the best in the area. I look forward to the new leadership in our program and continuing to keep Boyd-Buchanan football at a high level. Thank you to our Boyd community.”
Boyd-Buchanan School has begun the search for its next head football coach.
“Our search is already underway,” Pobieglo added. “Boyd-Buchanan is a vibrant community with a holistic spiritual environment, outstanding academics, an incredible fan base, and a strong overall athletics program. I am confident we will attract an outstanding pool of candidates. I want to thank the Boyd-Buchanan community for its continued support and patience.”
