@jonsopel If there was no advantage why would they risk a sanction? Why would the ‘Brough coach be so upset? Spying could help answer question over Hackneys fitness. Penalties if it came to that. Set pieces etc. If not heavily sanctioned it’s encouragement for all in the future.
