Got the Win today in our Sweet 16 game to move on to the Elite 8 !!! Went 6.1 Innings giving up 1 Earned Run with 7 hits and 3 Ks. Threw my outs today really well and pitched to contact. Excited to keep pushing through the playoffs!!

Masconomet 3, Peabody 2: Zach Ward struck out 9 and a Nolan Zamagni RBI single broke a 1-1 tie. Drew Gustafson added a sac fly and Cal Weidman went 2-for-3. Captain Ethan Waybret hit a solo homer for the Tanners (1-3) and finished with two RBI while Liam Smith pitched well

Masconomet 11, Saugus 2: Senior captain Cal Weidman had three hits and Zach Ward picked up the win as the Chieftains (2-1) took care of the Sachems at Stackpole. Chase Lepore (two hits) and Drew Gustafnson, another senior captain, also drove in three runs each.
