Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴

Small part of #SabresTwitter. If I'm not working or fishing, I'm watching the Sabres and wondering if they will ever make the playoffs again in my lifetime.

@Schopptalk Listened to your segment about Hellebuyck and lack of such opportunities. Consider that Lindy and Jarmo are old men who probably both thought they were out of chances before. They know how rare their current position is. They think the kids are worth keeping around.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@ExpectedBuffalo They're going to be fine. The power play will score eventually. One of their three goalies will make saves. They'll be buyers at the deadline and probably add something that helps. We won't know about this season until May.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@CMDeDominicis Pretty tough look if Danforth is your best forward.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@NotTheJoeMarino Is this going to be a thing all year? Every time they play like shit and lose it's because they didn't trade for Hellebuyck? Fucking exhausting.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@denskiedits2 @CMDeDominicis @andrewzybeme21 You clearly don't remember how those Montreal games went for Lyon.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@CMDeDominicis I'll say the same thing I said last game. If they just get a goal, they may be off to the races and come all the way back.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@CMDeDominicis Called this before the game

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@ntrider825 Litigating every goal is going to be really fucking annoying if people don't give it a rest with the Hellebuyck shit. You may not love UPL or Lyon or Ellis, but they won the division a year ago. Anything but all of them going cold at the same time in May means you're fine.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@PuckLuckJay Man has forgotten more hockey than most of us will ever know.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@CMDeDominicis Always believed they would come back. Confidence in OT was low though.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@NotTheJoeMarino Give me Metsa and Timmins can come in when there's an injury

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@CMDeDominicis If it's anyone other than Quinn Hughes I'll be surprised.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@BraytonJWilson Shout out Krebs on the forecheck too against Hughes.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

It's exhausting hearing Sabres fans bitch about the goalie after every goal as if Hellebuyck has never allowed one. That Thompson shot just went straight through Wallstadt if you're wondering. #Sabres

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@boomertang @SneakyJoeSports Sabres Twitter has repeatedly shown bullying works.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@boomertang @SneakyJoeSports The puck comes loose from the Crevier battle down low. Thompson is standing there stuck in the mud and a wild player skated from behind him to take the puck and score. You can always ask for a save, but there is no world where Tage played that well.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@CMDeDominicis I think if they find a way to get one, they probably come all the way back and win. Think it's gonna have to be one of the dawgs. Probably need a Benson or Doan goal here.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@boomertang @SneakyJoeSports He literally didn't cover it. The goal scorer skated right past him to that loose puck and scored.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@IRememberTheAud I don't think it sounds insane at all. I've thought for awhile he may be the problem. Honestly my other favorite idea is to swap Dahlin out for Power on that unit.

[Zack Holiskey ⚔️ 🏒🌴 @ZackHoliskey]

@TheSabreReport He's coming off an injury. Started slow for the same reason last year, but he eventually had a good season. Everyone needs to chill. This team is going to be just fine.
