The fixation on if a streamer gets carried in a video game comes primarily from ego
People have their identity/pride built around video game achievements and feel threatened when someone who is "below" them achieves the same thing
Purity tests rationalize protecting their ego
@Bee_Ren0106 That was a solution presented by myself and many other people during Alpha and Beta though
It's not like this idea is 5head or anything, it's obvious
This still makes me irrationally angry
THEY DONT EVEN KNOW HOW THEIR OWN GAME WORKS
If you needed a Renown threshold, you still would have experienced SL release through your covenant because YOU WOULDNT HAVE THE RENOWN TO SWAP YET?!
Am I the only person that sees this?
@Frostjammers@DevonDestroyer I can see what you're saying too for sure
Personally I find it completely transparent that Blizzard cares more about protecting the feelings of whales than toxicity when you can't /spit in TBC but you can still say the n word
People are mad because I said the WoW community is trash
They equate me saying to /spit on store mounts to doxxing, ddosing, and spreading girls nudes
They're mad because I'm right
@Frostjammers@DevonDestroyer It's not toxic at all to voice your displeasure at someone for actively diminishing the integrity of the game
The only reason Blizzard is taking it out of tbc is because it makes self-indulgent whales feel bad about giving them more money
Have spent the last week or so cutting down trees and turning big rocks into little rocks in New World that I haven't rly paid attention to streamer drama
Catching up on it
Lmao
I'm going back to cutting down blue trees now
