Uber just invested millions in Israeli drone company Flytrex — the same tech used for military surveillance and occupation.

Dear @Discovery_SA - I know from personal experience that large companies care more about profit than people. When a company’s actions and words don’t align, I believe what their actions tell me. I stand with the people of Palestine, and will now find a different medical aid. 👋

I usually don’t comment on Pakistani politics. I disagree with IK on many political issues. But this is not about politics- it’s about my children’s father, his human rights & international law. For the past few years, I’ve been bullied & harassed into silence by PML-N goons, including rape threats & countless conspiracy theories. Meanwhile Twitter/ X is banned in Pakistan, PTI party members & civilian supporters have been abducted, anyone with a platform who was speaking out is now in jail & silenced, Imran Khan’s photo and name have been censored on state television (they have even redacted his image from any coverage of Pakistan’s World Cup win of 92!)
I owe it to my children to try to create some awareness about what is happening in Pakistan. Please help in any way that you can. Thank you.
In the last few weeks there have been serious and concerning developments regarding my sons’ father, Imran Khan’s treatment in prison. The Pakistan authorities have stopped all visits to him by his family and his lawyers. They have also postponed all court hearings. In addition to cutting off in- person visits, and in defiance of a court order, his weekly calls to his sons, Sulaiman and Kasim Khan, who are British and who live in London, were stopped on 10th September. We have received reports that the authorities have now turned off the lights and electricity in his cell and he is no longer allowed to leave his cell at any time. The jail cook has been sent on leave. He is now completely isolated, in solitary confinement, literally in the dark, with no contact with the outside world. His lawyers are concerned about his safety and well-being.
These actions come in the context of ongoing targeting of Imran’s family, as well as his party (PTI) members and supporters in an attempt to silence them and all political opposition in Pakistan. Imran’s nephew, Hassan Niazi, a civilian, has been detained in military custody since August 2023. More recently, Imran Khan’s sisters, Uzma and Aleema Khan, who have continued to speak out on his behalf, have also been arrested as they made their way peacefully to a demonstration and they are currently being held in jail, despite there being no proper or lawful basis for their imprisonment.
In June this year the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention found that Imran is unlawfully and arbitrarily detained and called for his immediate release.
As a matter of urgency , we are calling for Imran Khan’s release, and for the release of his sisters and nephew as well as for his sons’ contact with their father to be re-established, so that they may have assurance first-hand that he is well and not being mistreated.
Why is @Netflix purging so many of its films and content regarding Palestinians and Palestine?
Look at all of the Palestinian stories that are "leaving soon."
Israel is already trying to erase the Palestinians of Gaza and the West Bank. Why is @Netflix erasing Palestinian media from its platform?
It makes me feel insane that one year into a genocide perpetrated by the ideological heirs to the Nazis people are still acting like it is okay or nuanced to act like both sides “have good points” or are deserving of our sympathy and respect t
YouTube just removed my entire channel, claiming I violated their “Hate Speech” policy. 8 years of tireless work, and 63,000 subscribers gone. I know it doesn’t come as a surprise given YouTube’s recent crackdown, but I’m still devastated.
My last video with @s_m_marandi hit 100,000 views in 12 hours (a new record for my channel). Joining the special club with @MarkSleboda1, @Glenn_Diesen, @DD_Geopolitics and others, who have challenged the U.S. narrative on Ukraine, and been deleted by YouTube.
I attempted to appeal, and it was denied within minutes.

The head of The Central Council of Jews in Germany @ZentralratJuden described the pro-Palestine protests today as "low point of humanity".
You really have to be a certain type of psychopath to be able to say something like that after Israel killed almost 42,000 people in Gaza.
For them, it’s a game; they press a button. For us, it’s about our loved ones, our homes, our cities, and our memories. Israeli occupation forces know no boundaries; they thrive on killing us and destroying our lives.
