If you're into data, tech, or just curious, feel free to follow along.
LINKEDIN SECRET
After writing your Headline, next thing is to write your “About” section
How do we write one? Don’t forget some of the skills (hard and soft) we wrote down in our first class. If you missed that thread, go and read it now
Onward
Many ways to write your About section but I like breaking it down into:
- Personalized introduction
- What you do
- Why you do it
- Your Skill sets (technical, domain, hard and soft skills)
- CTA
To do this, copy at least 5 job description of the target role and some of the skills required Go to ChatGPT and enter this prompt
“Act like a LinkedIn consultant that helps people get their dream jobs through LinkedIn optimization. Write an about section for a LinkedIn profile with the following summary but following the template below. Here are some things you should Know:
1. Targeted job title (copy the Job title we wrote last week here or 3-5 variants of the targeted role)
2. Professional experience (talk briefly about your work experience & responsibilities. Include your achievements too)
3. List your hard & soft skills. I talked about how to get this in our last class.
I want to apply for this targeted role (insert the role(s) here and here are the requirements, descriptions, and responsibilities required by the recruiters (copy and paste those descriptions here. 3-5 is okay)
Follow this template for my About section
- Personalized introduction
- What you do
- Why you do it
- Your Skill sets (technical, domain, hard and soft skills)
- CTA
Tailor your response to the targeted role and keep it below or approximately 2500 characters. Use data where possible

@_AustriaUpdates Hi sir,
Do you happen to have any WhatsApp or Telegram groups for people in Austria or those applying to schools there?
I’d really appreciate joining one to get guidance and stay updated.
If you're in a position to start any project, Always Ask "Why" for at least 5 times:
•Who is this for?
• What problem are they facing?
• What decision does this analysis support?
• What type of analysis it will provide?
• Why should I analyse this?
This ensures a solid project ✅

The easiest way to get ahead is to commit to a period of skill development. 6-12 months. Pure focus for 2-4 hours a day. Learning and building. Not just binge watching tutorials, but creating quality projects that you, others, or businesses could actually benefit from. But don't just let those projects sit around. Tell the world about them. See if people care enough to pay you. Fix what doesn't work until they do. That's it. That's what most people need to completely turn their life around.
