Been at Yudesi Primary School, Kazo - Nansana. One thing that amazed me, was seeing almost all the leadership positions being taken by girls. I want to congratulate the girls for stepping forward, showing confidence and taking up leadership.
However, this should also make us pause and ask ourselves: Where are the boys?
This is not a competition between boys and girls. It is a wake-up call. We must understand why many of our boys are becoming less engaged in school, leadership & other positive activities.
What a day for @UgandaCranes Congratulations on the Win. Thank you to everyone who turned up to celebrate our people and our national pride. Uganda is united by sport! @NyakatoAsinansi webale muno
I am deeply grateful to @NUP_Ug & my president @HEBobiwine for the opportunity to represent the party as we joined the people of Tooro to celebrate the historic coronation of His Majesty Omukama Edward Rukidi Nyabongo I.
It was an honour to serve as part of the delegation led by our Party Vice President for Western Uganda @JacklynJolly1 and to present a Friesian heifer to the Tooro Kingdom as a gesture of goodwill and solidarity.
Thank you, NUP, & People of Nansana for the trust and opportunity to serve. Long live the Kingdom of Tooro! 🙏🏿
Hon. @ZambaaliBulasio shares a light moment with the Omusuuga of Tooro Kingdom, Prince Charles Kayondo Kamurasi at St. John’s Cathedral in Fort Portal.

I attended the Thanksgiving celebration of LC1 Chairman of Kibungo, Joel Kabanda in Gombe Division. @nansanamc I congratulated him and his committee, while reminding them that leadership is about serving people, not sitting in offices.
I urged them to be vigilant on land matters: never sign a land agreement more than once, always verify documents and ownership, and exercise good judgment before making decisions that can affect our people #Zambaali
Today at St. Peter Kikandwa Parish, Kikyusa- luwero district, I witnessed something that deeply touched me as a Christian. We were only 9 in the parish church, and by midday we were still waiting for Christians to come.
Our village priests go through a lot. When it rains, attendance drops, yet the priest remains there, preaching, praying, visiting the sick and serving God’s people. At times, they depend on small offerings, even collecting peanuts in baskets, just to sustain the ministry.
Today, in Kyanja we laid to rest the legendary Moses Matovu, a giant of Uganda’s music whose contribution spanned more than 50 years.
His music, talent and dedication helped shape Uganda’s musical heritage and inspired generations of artists and music lovers. As we bid farewell, we celebrate a life that gave so much to our culture.
May his soul rest in eternal peace. #Zambaali
Last night, I joined fellow Ugandans, artists, friends and family at the National Theatre to pay tribute to the late Mzee Moses Matovu, the legendary voice and bandleader of Afrigo.
His music was more than entertainment; it was part of the story and identity of Uganda. For decades, he nurtured talent, entertained generations and helped build our music industry. @afrigoband
As we mourn Papa Moi, may we celebrate the great legacy he leaves behind and the many lives he touched through music.
Our oversight visit in the Bunyoro region @Parliament_Ug has raised important questions about Uganda’s preparedness for AFCON 2027.
Hoima City Stadium is ready and is a significant milestone. Hoima Boma Grounds also gives us encouragement. However, the situation at St. George/Masindi Municipal Stadium and Sir Tito Winyi remains a concern, with works behind schedule.
Government has committed substantial public resources to these facilities, including Shs20.2bn for the Masindi King George Training Facility and Shs18.6bn for Sir Tito Winyi. @pwatchug
Day 3: Our message is simple: public money must deliver public infrastructure, and Uganda must be ready, not merely on paper, but on the ground.
Government has allocated Shs135.7 billion for the additional training facilities, including Shs13.3 billion each for Lira University, Pece Memorial Stadium and Gulu University, but the work on the ground Is still behind schedule.
With AFCON 2027 fast approaching, this is not the time for complacency. We need answers on timelines, contractor performance, expenditure and whether the current pace can deliver facilities that meet CAF requirements
Still Today, during our oversight visit to the Lira University AFCON 2027 training facility, @pwatchug we found physical progress at only 28%, yet the project is operating under a six-month contract that commenced in May and is expected to be completed in November.
With the deadline fast approaching, serious questions remain regarding the contract, implementation, value for money and whether the facility will be delivered on time.
This is a Shs 13.3 billion taxpayer-funded AFCON training facility, & the contractor was 100% paid.
@Parliament_Ug We shall continue to ask the hard questions & demand answers.
Day 2: still on an oversight visit to Akibua Olympic Stadium to assess the progress of works.@pwatchug
Physical progress stands at 80% against the planned 85%, a 5-percentage-point shortfall. Government must ensure that the remaining works are completed to the required standards and within the agreed timelines.
Sports infrastructure is a public investment and must deliver value to athletes and the people of Uganda. We shall continue to monitor the project closely and demand accountability for every taxpayer’s shilling.
