@coalcountrywvu WVU needs size like Kentucky has to make a deep run. Kellogg knows defense and can get players who can score it we didn’t have an answer for the 3 6’5 players on UK tonight and got out rebounded by 20ish and killed down low all night.. that was the difference. Recruit true bigs!!

This shows that mark kellogg and staff has to recruit some size this offseason, we’ve got the defensive tenacity Dow n pat, but are very undersized compared to blue blood programs and we got killed by Kentucky’s size all evening on the glass and down low.. #WVUWBB

Ross Hodge’s first season at WVU wasn’t “bad” when you consider his roster and taking over a program coming off drama, but it also certainly wasn’t good enough.

It’s not unreasonable for WVU fans to set the standard at making the NCAA Tournament.

I believe Hodge fits West Virginia and has the right idea of what can work in the Big 12, but he can’t have an offense like this ever again and expect to compete.

This team just didn’t have the horses. That said, there are some serious issues that need to be addressed this offseason by Ross. Not an atrocious year 1 and certainly not one full of optimism either. Will need to make big strides in year 2.
