@furraridriver also a vtuber that comes to mind for me when talking about changing designs is Snuffy. She went through HUGE design changes over the years, every time getting something that feels comfortable for her as she changes, and the audience was still right there with her every time.

@peachhugs @Limealicious for what it's worth there's good quality aftermarket shells available (extremerate, they even have one that adds in usb-c without soldering), and replacement parts for most things like sticks. so they should be fixable forever!

if i buy a car and win a race with it, the brand doesn't get 30% of my winnings.
