@MrBlackFootball That's not even true. Spurs conceded 44, Arsenal have conceded 41 in 7 more games. They both conceded 26 goals in the league and 6 goals in the UCL, except one is in the UCL final and about to win the league, and the other didn't even make it out the group stages and won nothing.
@Kish_P14 As an all round footballer I can see why people put Saliba above Gabriel; he's more aesthetic and better on the ball but Gabriel is the better defender, and this is coming from someone who has followed Saliba's senior career from the start.
@PSGNJ1 Ligue 1's top scorers:
1st: 3rd division player in France 2 seasons ago
2nd: 2nd division player in Spain last season
3rd: Rapist
4th: Went from scoring 3 goals in England's 2nd division to 22 in Ligue 1 the season straight after
5th: 2nd division player in England last season
@michomatcha@DailyAFC@MiguelDelaney It's easy to complain when you're not tasked with providing a solution. So what do you want to happen exactly? Arteta gets fired then what?
@michomatcha@DailyAFC@MiguelDelaney Eze is injured, and if Ødegaard didn't start, it would have been Havertz who has played more minutes than Ødegaard since he has come back from injury on top of Havertz just coming back from playing two games during the international break.
@michomatcha@DailyAFC@MiguelDelaney You're complaining about something that's been addressed this season. They were valid complaints last season when Saka was being run into the ground, but not now when minutes are being spread out a lot more amongst the rest of the squad.
@michomatcha@DailyAFC@MiguelDelaney Every player has played over 1,000 minutes, barring Nørgaard (who is 5 minutes off of 1,000, which he'll probably get against Bournemouth), Gabriel Jesus and Havertz (who have both been injured most of the season). You're complaining about last season's issues.
@michomatcha@DailyAFC@MiguelDelaney What exactly do you want Arteta to do? Not compete in all competitions? Everyone is being played, even Kepa, and it's costed Arsenal. If a player is being overplayed, its because the other options are injured.
@OleParseina@echarles81@mattspiro He had 6 goal contributions in 889 minutes playing out of his favoured position last season. He could absolutely hack it. There's just too many players ahead of him to give him the minutes he needs to develop.
@Denzell_Of_NSH Do you think having dual national players representing the US contributes to that? For some of them, the US might not have been their first choice or they might not feel the same sense of patriotism towards the US as someone who lived and grew up in the US for most of their life.
@ManagerTactical@dcfcnetti You can't be saying this as an American. You probably spend more time looking for dual nat players you could poach for the USMNT than actually watching football.
@tavishsharma15@imzispoms I think you're underestimating how high the technical base line really is. A lot of defenders are just failed attackers, who had enough technical ability to regularly score 5+ goals in high school but not enough to play up front at a professional level.
@imzispoms@bigpicsoccer Technical ability is taught as much as athleticism is trained. Certain people an innate ability to do things better than others.
@tavishsharma15@imzispoms That's not true at all; It's the other way round. There's a floor for technical ability that players have to be above before they're even considered. Wenger said it himself, if they're not at that point technically by 14 they wont make it.
@afcjxmes I have a lot of respect for people who defend Arsenal and have no affiliation with the club. There's so much incentivising them to just pile on and do what everyone else is doing, but they're choosing not to.
