@yoshi_v1 A new wallet address only hides who you are from the address itself; the transaction and amount can still be traced on a transparent chain.
Zcash shielding hides the sender, receiver, and amount from the public chain altogether.
@yoshi_v1 A t-address is transparent the sender, receiver, and amount are visible on-chain.
If privacy is the goal, receive into a shielded address, not a t-address.
After the @ZcashGH Meetup, I’m back at @ayahq_ for the @Builders_Circle & @BCC_Ghana Roadshow Accra Hacker House. 🇬🇭
It honestly feels like coming home.
AyaHQ is more than a hub.
It’s a human layer connecting builders, helping people learn together, collaborate, and turn ideas into things people can actually use.
My first time here was full of great conversations, shared knowledge, and genuine passion for building.
And I’m expecting nothing less this time. 🔥
If you’re a builder, come with your idea.
If you’re learning, come ready to contribute.
If you have experience, share it.
If you’re looking for collaborators, start a conversation.
Don’t just attend. Build something. Find someone to build with. Help another builder move forward.
Let’s connect.
Let’s collaborate.
Let’s build together. 🏗️🌍
Builders across Africa, let’s make things happen.
From Togo 🇹🇬 → Ghana 🇬🇭
I’m currently in Accra at Google, learning more about privacy and payments with Zcash by @ZcashGH
Another journey across borders not just to attend, but to learn, contribute, exchange ideas, and build together.
There’s still so much to explore at the intersection of privacy, payments and real-world crypto adoption.
Back to building. 🛡️😁
🦓🇬🇭 @ZcashGH is back and I really want to be there.
Honestly, asking for financial support is not something I’m used to doing. But I’ve taken some time to think about it, and this one really matters to me.
I want to be in Accra for Privacy Meets Payments to meet the community, learn from other builders, contribute my voice, and bring that experience back to Togo.
🇹🇬 My team and I are already working with @ZcashTogo on a bootcamp to onboard the Togolese ecosystem into Zcash. We’re putting things together, with announcements coming soon.
So this trip is also connected to what we’re building back home.
If you’d like to help make it possible, any amount is welcome. No pressure.

I’ll use the opportunity to document the journey, amplify the meetup, connect with builders and bring what I learn back into the work we’re doing in Togo.
If you can’t contribute, a repost or simply following the journey also helps.
Thank you 🫶🏾🦓

Bitcoin taught the world scarcity.
Zcash is teaching it discretion.
Optional privacy + fixed supply + real zero-knowledge tech.
The quietest money is about to make the loudest noise.
The entire crypto market is still building in glass houses.
$ZEC built the only major money with curtains.
Bitcoin-level scarcity.
Optional ZK privacy.
Institutional access now live.
While everyone else leaves a permanent public trail, Zcash holders can choose invisibility
