In his message titled "From Loss to Victory," preached during the Sunday Power Service, Pastor Norman Zundoga delivers a teaching grounded in 1 Samuel 1:1, 20 and Genesis 1:28 on how believers can move out of spiritual and personal defeat to reclaim God's original purpose for their lives. God’s foundational design for humanity has always been fruitfulness, growth, and dominion; however, stepping out of that ideal plan opens the door to loss. The primary strategy of the enemy is subtle and calculated, rarely attacking outright with violence or blood, but rather by twisting and targeting the Word of God, as seen in Genesis 3:1. When believers become impatient or attempt to bring about God’s promises through human effort—much like Abraham did with Hagar—they drift from God’s ideal path. True spiritual victory requires discernment, restraint, and sensitive alignment with God, demonstrated by David when he refused to kill Saul out of reverence for the Lord despite having the physical opportunity to do so.
​In Matthew 13 and Luke 4:6–7, the enemy’s tactics are further revealed through the way he targets the Word preached to believers. As soon as truth is spoken, the enemy actively tries to snatch it away before it can take root, launching attacks that cause believers to suffocate the message through worldly cares and distractions. He offers the splendor and temporal pleasures of the world, tempting believers to conform to culture and compromise their convictions. To walk in lasting victory, believers must resist this pressure to compromise, following the example of Daniel and his friends who stood firm against the allure of worldly prestige.
​Ultimately, overcoming spiritual loss requires understanding that Christ has already disarmed the darkness and secured total victory on the cross, taking back dominion as outlined in Colossians 3:13–15, Ephesians 4:8–9, and Matthew 28:18. Modern believers must stop accepting unnecessary suffering and defeat, shifting instead toward actively enforcing the triumph Christ provided. Because believers frequently fall into deception simply by not reading and knowing Scripture, they must equip themselves with the Dominion Kit: standing firmly on the unadulterated Word of God, relying on the empowering presence and wisdom of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8, Isaiah 11:2) to build the Kingdom, and operating in Christ's delegated authority to cast out evil spirits and reclaim every area of life stolen by the enemy. #Dominion
