The blessings Allah has given us as Muslims are countless, and one of the greatest is that our connection with our parents does not end when they pass away.
We can still benefit them through dua, sadaqah jariyah, Hajj or Umrah on their behalf, and ongoing charity that continues to reach them in reward.
For many reverts, this is much harder because they may not have Muslim parents or family, so they cannot easily do these deeds for their loved ones in the same way.
It is a huge mercy from Allah to be guided to Islam and to have these opportunities to continue benefiting and honouring our parents even after they have passed away.
The Prophet ﷺ turned away from beardless men and shaving the beard was considered effeminate by early scholars.
When the envoys of Kisra came with shaved beards, he initially turned away:
“Who commanded you?”
They said, “Our lord (Their King).”
He ﷺ replied, “But my Lord has commanded me to lengthen the beard and trim the moustache.”
[Tabari 3:248, authenticated by al-Albani]
The Sahaba followed this command and did not shave. Later scholars of the Salaf inferred that shaving the beard is effeminate, a form of imitating women or non-Muslims, as the beard is a clear mark of masculinity.
So let your beard grows brothers!
May Allah ﷻ guide this brother and us.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to allow rappers and celebrities that openly sin to come to the masjids and be given a platform to give a speech. So many young people can so easily get influenced or become exposed to these rappers and celebs and their way of life. The platform in the masjid should be given to community leaders and those who are the most pious and knowledgeable.
Anthony Joshua has survived with minor injuries due to the decree of Allah, it does not make sense for the media undermine the deaths of two others only because he is a ‘Celebrity’

Sometimes you have to ask yourself if chasing clout is really worth it. For a few views, you’re damaging your own reputation, dragging your parents and siblings into embarrassment, putting your flaws on display for the world, and livestreaming every argument. Where’s the honour?
Great win for Hamza Sheeraz, personally i think he should have 1-2 more elite level fights before fighting Canelo.. Hes improving every fight. Berlanga is a warrior also, he got back up from them heavy shots
Most of us are children of immigrant parents that came to this country so we could have a better future, sometimes we have to ask the question if we have made them proud or was their sacrifice/struggles worth it or have we just disappointed them
