I get it. “China did it” is much easier than trying to understand glaciers.
But the collapse appears to have started high on Langtang Lirung in Nepal, not at a Chinese construction site.
Scientists are looking at warming as a factor in glacier instability. That doesn’t mean they’ve proven climate change caused this specific collapse.
Give the scientists a minute. The glacier already moved faster than the investigation.
