Born again. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast
@BlackWraith2006@TheSkepticWiz Nobody knows the age of Mary.
The birth of Jesus fulfils Isaiah 7:14, Micah 5:2, Isaiah 9:6-7 & Genesis 3:15.
His life and death fulfil many prophecies and foreshadowing stories in the O.T. including Moses' serpent on a pole, the Passover, Joseph in Egypt, Jonah, Isaiah 53.
@TheSkepticWiz@BlackWraith2006 The virgin birth was to fulfil prophecy and show that Jesus came from God, so he can be described as the Son of God or 2nd person of the Trinity rather than have a human father.
He was both fully human and fully divine.
@BlackWraith2006@TheSkepticWiz He lived fully as a human being, from zygote to death.
That's the 'incarnation'.
A demonstration of his love for us and provision of his redeeming sacrifice.
@MasterMaliq Pray for them and receive them with open arms when they return:
Luke 15:22-24
But the father said... 'Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.
@McClureShawn Nice to see you would consider God "astonishing", because he is. He is also your father, he loves you and wants you to turn to him. Will you?
