Two stages of one panel from THE NEPHILIM Issue #2: perspective and wreckage first, then Port City and a red block-in of the hero. Something hit this street hard. What did it? Free preview at https://t.co/iCBi24owzh #TheNephilim#indiecomics#comicart
How do you plot a 24-page comic? I break mine into three acts. Pages 1 to 5 set up the hook, 6 to 17 build to the climax, and 18 to 24 wrap it all up. Full video is on my YouTube, and you can read the free 3-page preview at https://t.co/iCBi24owzh #HowToMakeAComic#TheNephilim

Why NITE HUNTER and not Night Hunter? Nick at Nite, a taken username, and one person who got made fun of.

What is Dark Light Energy? It's what powers my hero, THE NEPHILIM. It comes from his own cells and makes him faster and stronger, but the more he uses it, the more it drains him. Full video on my YouTube. Read the free 3-page preview at https://t.co/iCBi24p4oP #TheNephilim

So sure we could take this bounty. We could not. Nite Wraith got called a coward, and that was fair.

Vertical or wide? I use vertical panels for dialogue, wide panels for establishing shots and chases, and small insets to build urgency. Full video is on my YouTube, and you can read the free 3-page preview at https://t.co/iCBi24p4oP #ComicPanels#TheNephilim
Where did NITE HUNTER come from? The original name is so much worse than you'd expect. Midnight Hunter. I'm still laughing.

Clayface and the new Deathstroke/Bane film feel like DC or WB don't want to invest a lot of money but still release product. What DC Studios is doing reminds me of what Sony is doing with films like Morbius, Kraven, Madame Web, and the occasional Spider-man film in between Avengers movies.
Do you need a splash page in your comic? Nope! Put your story first, keep your bubbles to 25 words max, and let your art show the action. Full video is on my YouTube, and you can read the free 3-page preview at https://t.co/iCBi24p4oP #HowToMakeAComic#IndieComics#TheNephilim
