I rewatched S2 of Korra (best season of both shows) recently and every single criticism regarding plot mistakes and whatnot was like explicitly addressed in it
Guy who posts text screenshots of everything he would otherwise type out normally. Not because he hit the character limit, but because he wants to gatekeep non-English speakers from reading his timeline
El creador de AVATAR, Michael DiMartino, eligió a Korra como el personaje más poderoso en un versus:
• Katara vs Toph: Toph
• Toph vs Zaheer: Toph
• Toph vs Azula: Azula
• Aang estado Avatar vs Azula: Azula
• Korra vs Azula: Korra🏆
@keiphoriaz Eh, it's no great loss. Most everyone who seemed to actually get the point I was trying to make seemed to have sided with me anyway. Just because a bunch of people on Twitter loudly misunderstood me doesn't mean I was mistaken
@Kami_oo_s@ReverseCasper It’s not as if Korra literally hands over Jinora to Unalaq, that’s not what I’m saying. However, Korra was appointed by Tenzin to look after to Jinora while they journeyed into the spirit world. Anything that happens to Jinora is on Korra, she’s the adult in this situation
It’s amazing how many times the Jinora thing gets brought up as a counter against this point I made. Jinora was only taken hostage as a result of Korra’s attempt to try and close the second portal (something which she didn’t need to do). Do Korra fans not watch their own show?
Jinora was taken hostage when trying to close a portal. Korra wasn't really given a choice & wouldn't sacrifice an 11 year old girl who is the closest thing she has to a sibling. Unalaq would threaten to destroy the Southern water tribe if she chose to avoid harmonic convergence.
@Kami_oo_s@ReverseCasper Tenzin entrusted Korra with his daughter's safety, getting seperated from Jinora and allowing her to be captured by Unalaq is absolutely something we can fault Korra for.
You know Korra could’ve just as easily sat out Harmonic Convergence and avoided this mess. Like Unalaq’s whole plan is contingent on Korra opening the Northern Portal so that he may free Vaatu, No Korra, and Unalaq’s plan fails completely and Vaatu remains trapped for 10k years
@ReverseCasper Oh and the reason why Korra and Jinora got separated in the Spirit World thus leading to Jinora’s capture is because Korra got ragebaited by spirit gophers. Nice
@ReverseCasper Korra and Jinora didn’t need to enter the spirit world at all, Unalaq had only one portal open and couldn’t open the second without Korra. By entering the spirit world and endangering Jinora, Korra gave Unalaq the exact leverage he needed to get her to comply.
