Many years ago playing cash.

I have 42s on 53J9X

River I bet half pot or so with a decent amount effective behind.

Villain stands up and goes I know you have AK I know you AK! I call!!

I have the nut low, so I muck.

As the dealer pushes him the pot, he shows that he also had 42.

Meaning he JUST called me on the river, did not raise, hoping I was bluffing and would turbo muck. Just an absolute savage aggressive call

Ever since then I just table or announce losing hands with tremendous pride.

Not worth the haul, the 3 year 45M remaining commitment or the void he’ll leave when he invariably misses time.

It’s simple. Olson always plays. Buxton rarely plays. Baseball is a game of patterns.

Chronically injured players don’t just get healthier as they approach their mid 30s.

The Braves don’t need another big star. They need one above avg player, a stopgap RHH catcher and an extra lefty in the pen.

Big move wise, I’d take a good right handed hitting corner OF. Heliot Ramos upon return seems like excellent value. Cheap and controlable. Fits the lineup perfectly.

An AJSS/ Owen Murphy package could likely do the trick.
