Eschatos is one of such great examples. The shield is so great it melts the first boss!

You genuinely cannot understand how much better Go is to Chess without having played it. Saddens me as a player and as a dev how the peak of gaming was basically reached 1000s of years ago.

@Niflheimm155983 I wouldn't say I "don't like roguelites", as I'm sure there are some good ones out there (Downwell was really cool), I just don't want arcade games getting replaced by them just because modern "journalists" (who know nothing about games) say arcade design is outdated...
